Retail deal for Australia home fuel cells

- Ceramic Fuel Cells of Australia reports that it has appointed Harvey Norman, one of Australia's largest retailers, to distribute its fuel cells which generate electricity from natural gas and can be used in the home. The units are about the size of a dishwasher.
Harvey Norman's commercial division already sells solar hot water and solar power systems for use in homes.
It will initially only sell the fuel cells to commercial clients, such as architects, home builders and tradespeople.
The longer term plan is to sell them directly to the public in retail stores.
