University of North Florida $4.9m fuel cell research contracts

- The University Of North Florida School Of Engineering has won $9.4m contracts for fuel cell research, according to the Florida Times-Union.
This is the largest contract the University of North Florida has ever received for technology related research.
The contracts are from the US Department of Energy and the Army Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center.
The research will be on developing methanol fuel cell power source for laptops, with two versions, one for consumers and one for American soldiers.
