Air Liquide starts work on Texas steam reformer

- Air Liquide has started work on construction of a steam methane reformer to make hydrogen, at La Porte, Texas.
The unit is developed and operated by Air Liquide Large Industries U.S. LP and engineered and constructed by Air Liquide Process & Construction, Inc.
It is scheduled to be operational near the end of 2011.
It will produce over 100m cubic feet per day of hydrogen, to be fed into the US Gulf Coast pipeline system, serving customers along the US Gulf Coast.
