Plug Power increases losses
Fuel Cells, May 12 2010 (The Hydrogen Journal)
- US hydrogen fuel cell manufacturer Plug Power reports that it has lost $12.2m in the first quarter of 2010 with revenue of $2.7m, compared to losses of $8.2m in the first quarter of 2009 with revenue of $2.6m.
In the first quarter of 2010 it spent $1.6m on "ramping up" operations in India, the company said. It now has 39 people working in India.
The Company shipped 104 units of its fuel cell products during the first quarter of 2010 compared to 198 unit shipments in the first quarter of 2009.
