Near Power acquires fuel cell battery charge company

- Neah Power Systems of Washington, USA, has acquired CyVolt Energy Systems, a company which has technology to recharge lithium ion batteries on portable electronics using a fuel cell, powered by cartridges.
Following the acquisition, Neah believes it can put the product on the market within 4-6 months.
