Ballard acquires Dantherm Power

- Vancouver fuel cell products manufacturer Ballard Power has acquired a controlling stake in Dantherm Power, a subsidiary of Dantherm, a Danish manufacturer of air handling systems for fuel cells, at a cost of $6m, according to reports by Associated Press.
Dantherm Power makes fuel cell backup power systems.
Ballard will make the investment in two phases between 2010 and 2012.
