SunHydro - solar hydrogen stations on US East Coast
Production, Jan  29  2010 (The Hydrogen Journal)

- SunHydro of Connecticut, USA, has announced an ambitious plan to build 11 solar powered hydrogen fuelling stations down the entire US East Coast from Portland (Maine) to southern Florida. Each station will generate enough hydrogen to power 10-15 vehicles per day.

The company admits that this isn't much, but sees it as a start.

“Our goal is to make it possible for hydrogen car to drive from Maine to Miami strictly on sun and water,” the company says.

Many commentators believe that hydrogen cars won't be brought to the US East coast until the hydrogen stations are built - and the reason most of the cars are on the US West Coast is because that is where the hydrogen stations are.
